All pieces are one of a kind as I do not usually practise batch production. I have been selling pieces in the following collections for the past 3 years at various Contemporary Craft Events. If you would like to discuss any bespoke pieces or have any questions about the products featured, please get in touch via the contact page.
Blue & White Collection
These white earthenware pieces are all hand painted with traditional cobalt oxide and have images of domestic plants and birds found in my garden during lockdown 2020.
Stories of Garden Life
Moving on from the blue & white earthenware pieces that I created, I added colour to the garden scenes that emerged during the spring and summer.
Terracotta Stories
These pieces are all responses to various art threads I was involved in. The plates from Northern Women's Art Collective and the theme of travel - Morocco. Souks and brilliant blues were captured on these pieces.
ENKI God
Fragments of a jar, I came across whilst in the British Museum a few years ago, dating back to Iraq in the 11th Century, featured images of the Mesopotamian God of Life and Creativity - Enki. He was a practical joker and also protected his subjects from drought and infertility.
There are many stories of Enki, however it is his youthful spirit and determination that I most admire. Qualities needed for human survival.
He has been, and will continue to be, one of the inspirations for many of the pieces I have created.
