Claymates are my mobile clay workshop experiences. It is a non- profit enterprise, making versatile, unique and joyful experiences for people to engage with clay.

Claymates gives people who may not usually have opportunity to use clay the experience of making in a group setting for physical and mental well – being.

I run bespoke workshops based on what participant groups want and need. At the moment, I’m working with Oasis Hub where we have a clay club for local people to spend an hour making something which stimulates the mind by making and being together.

In the past I’ve worked with older people with Age Concern and Ageing Better, and in residential care homes. I’ve worked with adult groups with Birmingham Mind, I’ve worked with participants with Parkinsons’, and with Dementia groups.

Currently these sessions  take place with organisations in the community that provide me with materials, firing and transport costs for 6 week sessions held in their venues.

If you would like to bring this to a group you work with, please get in touch below
